I am a mom....

I am a mom of a perceptive, loving, challenging little boy. I am a mom that has seen first hand the effects of food choices, dyes, preservatives, and vitamin defeciences on a sensory challenged child. I am in the middle of it and I can say that when I look back we have progressed an incredible amount in 6 months. We did not choose to pursue any formal diagnosis or early interventions. Rather we are working with our child daily, praying for him, and teaching him how to cope and how to take care of himself when he feels overwhelmed. You can't focus on the day, rather the trajectory of days, and that's when you see that progress has been made. I am a mom that awaits the day my little caterpillar is the awesome butterfly God has created him to be.
